Rusty Up North
The Atom Select Rangers traveled to Mt Forest to battle a solid A/AA Rams team. Despite the three-week layoff, the rusty Rangers still escaped with a 2-1 win.
The negative first-period trend continued as the Rangers came out sluggish and needed Gavin to step up once again to hold the fort. The Rangers found their legs in the 2nd period, scoring a pair of goals. Mt Forest scored a quick goal in the third but Carson closed the door from there on out.
The Rangers now enjoy a three game homestand and barring any schedule surprises, our next game will be in the Brantford Tourney in two weeks.
