Minor Midgets Team Up With KMHA and "Give It A Try" Program
Smiles, laughter and great accomplishments were witnessed this morning when players and staff from the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA hockey club teamed up with KMHA and local kids for the "Give It A Try" program.

Give It A Try program allows kids who have never had the fortune of playing hockey the opportunity to gear up, skate and play the greatest game in the world.  9 boys and girls had that opportunity this morning.  With equipment provided by KMHA, mentorship, guidance and support provided by players of the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA hockey team everyone had a great time.

From great saves, goal celebrations and the big smiles on kids faces when they realized that with support, trust and guidance they could push the skater trainer aside and skate for the first time on their own.  I'm not sure who's smiles were bigger, the kids who accomplished this great feat, the KJR players helping them or the parents in the stands applauding.  Every success was recognized allowing everyone to walk away with a smile and wonderful memories.

Thanks to everyone from KMHA that organized and put this great event together as well as thanks to KJR players Luke Bignell, Gianfranco Commisso, Ben Demoe, Jackson Dewar, Eastan Eckert, Addison Macey, Brandon Romany and trainer Jason Babcock for helping create some great memories for young kids within our community!!
