OHL Cup Playdown Series Set v Windsor
The Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA hockey club faces the Windsor Jr. Spitfires in an OHL Cup Showdown series.
The winner of this best of 3 series receives an automatic berth to the OHL Cup in Toronto. The losing team of this series must play in a wildcard single game win and your in format to gain a wildcard berth to the OHL Cup.
These 2 teams are evenly matched but haven't faced each other since November. In their 3 regular season games they tied 4-4 in September and Windsor won the next 2 meetings 3-2 and 4-3. Both teams have improved since their last meeting and this will be an exciting series.
Game 1: Friday March 4 - 8:30 pm Activa (3-2 Windsor)
Game 2: Saturday March 5 - 7:30 pm Windsor Central (4-2 KJR)
Game 3: Sunday March 6 - 6:30 pm Activa **
Game 4: Tuesday March 8 - 9:00 pm Windsor Central **
