Major Bantam Blue, 2017-2018, Seeded (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

The Bantam Blue team represented with class again as they donned their jerseys, and collected donations of food and money for the Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Mayor Berry Vrbanovic gave the team a couple of shout-outs on his twitter feed for showing their Christmas Spirit, saying you are "never to young to volunteer!"

Coaches, parents, and fans trekked to Kingston to support the Seeded Blue Team this weekend. Even though we had a short bench, the players did not disappoint. The boys put the pressure on to earn their spot at the top of the pool with an impressive 4 straight wins.  The goalies manned the pipes to mark 3 shut-outs!!

The coaching staff is very proud of the Bantam Seeded Blue Team for coming together to overcome challenges, pressure, and for starting to form our team character...."Representing Kitchener with class".  With perseverance, they finished the tournament being undefeated, and captured the Championship Cup!!
