a shortened bench, the Kitchener Lady Rangers Midget “A’s” travelled to Century
Gardens in Brampton to take on the Brampton Canadettes
In a game that bore no resemblance to the one played just over 24 hours earlier, the ladies came out strong and stayed strong for three periods of exciting hockey. With many good “choices and options” the ladies applied pressure and had many good scoring opportunities. Credit to the Canadettes for keeping the game close and taking advantage of a late third period Ranger miscue to earn the tie.
Controlled play, patience and “talk” made all the difference. Remember to be as hard on that puck as you can. You won’t hurt it we promise.
