Game #1: Tuesday December 27th
Eagles VS Titans
Merry Christmas!
The boys were back from their Christmas break, looking well rested and eager to play.
First period lit up quick! With only 8:29 #23 Whalen scored off of a rebound from # 91 Banton. Then 51 seconds later #6 Ruth scored the second goal, again, off of a rebound from #66 Nanuti. Then just 13 seconds later #91 Banton scored the third goal with a beauty of a wrist shot, assisted by #44 Ramcharan. Later in the period #9 Hancock attempted to shoot but ended up popping the net off with his shoulder. #66 Nanuti tried to squeak one in with a wrap around, but it didn’t go in.
Second period came and went without much. No goals, no penalties, no shots on net for Max. Several shots on net for the Eagles, but nothing was making it in there. One questionable non-goal… #9 Hancock had a shot that was in and out, but the ref didn’t call it.
Third period, went by just as fast as the previous. At 9:12 #44 Ramcharan had an amazing shot, assisted by #66 Nanuti. With only 3 seconds left on the clock #9 Hancock scored our final goal of the game.
Final Score: 5-0 Eagles
Afterwards in the locker room #4 Price was awarded the Hardest Worker Puck for playing an excellent defensive game, making some great passes to get the puck out of our end and into the offensive zone.
