Saturday March 4th
Eagles VS Titans
Well, here we are playing the Titans again for the third time in 4 weeks. With a full bench, the Eagles hit the ice feeling confident and strong.
First period there was a lot of back and forth action. It wasn’t until 3:46 that #66 Nanuti opened the scoring, assisted by #4 Price.
Second period saw the Titans score one goal to tie it up, but not before they were up to their shenanigans throwing their bodies around and hacking at ankles.
In the third period the Eagles tightened it up and started passing the puck around, which left the Titans scrambling and gave the Eagles the opportunity to score 3 more goals! At 7:23 #91 Banton scored the second goal for the Eagles. Then at 5:39, #44 Ramcharan buried another one, assisted by #11 Bell. And then only 37 seconds later, #66 Nanuti, with “laser-like” accuracy, put one high and inside the post, for the fourth and final goal of the game. WOWZA!! What a shot!!
Final Score: 4-1 Eagles
Later in the Locker Room #44 Ramcharan was awarded the Player of the Game Pylon for his intensity on the forecheck, great back checking and perfect positioning to score his goal.
