2 in a row! What a way to start the season!
Wow! The red is off to a fiery start to the 2011 - 2012 season. It’s pretty early in this year’s hockey season to suggest that we are already working as a solid unit, but it sure feels like we are.
In just 2 games, 5 of our forwards have already scored (Martin, Pearson, Schleimer, Thornton & Todd). Lots of great passing and communication on the ice are giving the Red tons of great scoring chances. Our solid defensive wall has been successful in limiting our opposition’s rushes in our end, and when they are able to take a shot, Venning is standing on his head. What a great start to the season. Things can only get better as the team gels and gets more comfortable with each other.
