Wow! Red is on fire!
I remember saying "What the *%$(@ happened" after our big win at Hockey Day In Rangers Nation...

What's going on with our team?  It seems like things have really started to click with the Major Atom Toxic Red team in the past few weeks!  We ended up in the semi's in the Jason Cripps tournament, had an absolutely huge, dominating game against a strong New Hamburg Huskies team (they had just 3 losses all season before they shook our hands at centre ice) and ended up third after the round robin of the Neil Barker tournament in London.  All of a sudden we have turned into a high performance sports car engine, firing on all 8 cylinders, breathing fire and ready to rumble!

Today we met the Grey team, which we played once in regular season action and once in the Jason Cripps tournament.  Both previous games were close nail biters.  Today though was different; the Toxic Red team has bonded after the tournament; new forward and defense lines have gelled and the Toxic Red is clearly ready to take it to the next level. Both teams had a significant short bench due to a select tournament this weekend, but Red's new lines, on-ice communication, rock solid defense, crazy goaltending by Zack "the Villan" Venning and good passing in the neutral zone gave the Toxic Red a dramatic 9 - 1 win today!   Way to go guys!!! All three lines scored; absolutely every Red player was in on the play...this was an entire team effort and win!!!  Awesome job guys!
