A Few Things in Common with the Leafs
Our Red team actually has a few things in common with the Leafs. Both teams have been playing pretty strong over the past several games, both first place early in the season, and both had big losses on Saturday.
Sometimes losses are good at bringing a team back to reality; a chance to regroup and plan for the future. It can point out things to work on in practices and when the next time the team hits the ice. In the case of the Leafs, several players commented that they didn't play hard enough from the opening puck drop, and the same can be said about our Red team. We have to give it 100% for the entire game. One player that did give it 100% was Ethan Starr, who earned the player of the game this past week. He played an intense style of hockey from beginning to end; way to go Ethan!
