Minor Peewee Blue, 2011-2012, MD (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

Happy New Year 2012!  I have a feeling that this is going to be a great playoff season for our team.  We are proud of our strong record to date and of the fact that most of our losses are with a very low goal differential.  As we move forward, we continue to develop a "team win" attitude, building on a great foundation. We are very proud of our success in the Wayne Gretzky International Hockey Tournament.  Our Silver medal finish, giving up only one goal, was a great end to a fun weekend.  Congrats to our friends on Red on taking home the Gold medal.

Keep working hard and playing smart MD Blue.  Your efforts are being rewarded and your success will continue if you stay focused on getting the job done and working as a team.  We accomplished that again this weekend with 7 different goal scorers and 12 different players getting at least one point in our last game.  You should all be proud of your unselfish play and team oriented attitude.  As a coach I have also been proud of the respect you have shown to your opponents, the officials and to your coaches during our games.  It is still early and as such very important that we not lose sight ...
