and Away Jersey Colours for 2011-12 Season,
It was confirmed at the August 31st Alliance meeting that Home teams will now wear dark jerseys and away teams will wear light jerseys for the upcoming season. The change will take place for the start of league play 2011-12 for all AAA, Seeded AA & A and Minor Development Hockey.
Handshake prior to Game,
A decision was made to return to the traditional handshake for all Representative, Seeded AA & A and Minor Development Hockey for the 2011-12 Season. The handshake will take place prior to the game with both teams lining up at centre ice. Referees have been instructed to blow the whistle with 30 seconds remaining in the warm-up to clean up pucks and get the ice cleared prior to shaking hands.
