A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM THE PREMIER
On behalf of the Government of Ontario, I am delighted to extend warm greetings to everyone participating in Girls Hockey Day, hosted by Kitchener Minor Hockey.
Hockey is a great sport — one close to the hearts of millions of Canadians. For over 120 years, girls and women from across the country have been stick handling and shooting to win in highly competitive games, tournaments and championships at all age levels.
I applaud everyone involved with this exciting event — organizers, players, parents, coaches, referees, volunteers, fans and sponsors — and commend you for your dedication to promoting girls hockey in your community and across Ontario. And to all the girls and women participating in Girls Hockey Day: I wish you the best of luck!
