Tigers, HL-MPW, 2012-2013 (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

A 5-1 win over Waterloo in the Record Cup capped a near perfect season for the Tigers.

The Tigers capped off a memorable season with a hard fought final weekend of hockey with a win in the championship. Sixteen boys agreed at the beginning of the season that they would give their best on and off the ice to each other and spent the whole 2012-2013 season playing as a true team.

The Tigers arrived at the Neil Barker Tournament on Friday, January 18 and quickly made their mark.

After four days of great games, tough opponents, players battling the flu and butterflys, the Tigers emerged with the championship trophy after an intense finale with the Huskies. Every Tiger contributed to the team victory. Solid goaltending with passing, skating and all players having fun made for a memorable Christmas tournament.
