Minor Midgets Advance to Quarter Finals
The Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA club advanced to the Alliance Quarter Finals after eliminating the Hamilton Huskies in the 1st round of playdown action.
The Jr. Rangers swept the Huskies in 3 games winning 5-0, 7-2 and 6-1. The Minor Midgets will face the Lambton Jr. Sting in the Quarter Finals. The Quarter Final schedule is not yet available.
The Jr. Sting finished 2nd in the Western Conference and received a 1st round bye in the playdowns. The two teams met twice during the regular season with the Jr. Rangers winning 3-0 in September and the Jr. Sting winning 2-1 when they met again in December. The home team won each game.
