Our fourth player-parent challenge, "Create-A-Drill", took place last week and a huge "CONGRATULATIONS" goes out too........

Our third "Player-Parent Challenge" had a bit of a twist to it as we held it on the road... A highly contested "Jungle Quest Mini Golf" battle took place this past Saturday at the Nottawasaga Inn Resort, and although there were some close battles...the ultra competitive parents came out on the low end of the score.

Our second "Player-Parent" Challenge, the Sports Drink Chug-A-Lug contest, took place today...., right in the main lobby at Activa.....and what a battle it was.  Seventeen players going head to head against seventeen parents....and a race to see which group could "down" their drinks first. The crafty, more "experienced" parents took this one and as a result, the season series is now tied. Good work parents!  Players are calling for a re-match so be prepared!!!  :) Stay tuned for Challenge Number 3 and thanks for being such good sports with this!!

Our first "Player-Parent Challenge" of the year has come to a conclusion and is now in the books.   We held a contest to see who could come up with the best "slogan" for our Team Banner and the ideas were fantastic. Thank you to all who participated.....and a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS goes out to the players!!!!! Tyler Warnez came up with the slogan that received the highest number of votes:  "Together We Can...Together We Will...!"  This will now be put on our banner for all to see.  Well done Tyler! Way to go boys....Second challenge is right around the corner....!  

With the hockey season almost upon us many parents are full of questions about the upcoming tryouts. Hopefully this will help...at least a little! Tryout dates, times and locations are listed on our team calendar.  Every player will attend both the Saturday and Sunday tryout.  Players with last names starting with A to L will be on the ice the first hour of our timeslot, while players with names starting with M to Z will be on ice for the second hour.
