Minor Midgets Face Cambridge in Wild Card Playoff
After a hard fought 8 game series against the cross town rivals to the North the Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA team now face our cross town rivals to the South for the right to advance to the OHL Cup Provincial Championships.

Kitchener faces the Cambridge Hawks in a 4 point series with the winning team advancing to the OHL Cup.

These teams met 3 times during the regular season and prove to be evenly matched.  Kitchener won their first meeting in mid November 4-3 when the teams met in Cambridge.  Their 2nd meeting of the season was on January 7th in Kitchener where the teams battled to a 1-1 tie.  They met for the 3rd and final time January 10th in Cambridge where the Hawks came out on top 5-3.

Kitchener finished 3rd in the Alliance with a 17-9-7 record scoring 103 goals and giving up 93.
Cambridge finished 4th in the Alliance with a 17-11-5 record scoring 104 goals and give up 78.

This shapes up to be another close series for the Minor Midget Jr. Rangers.
