Minor Midget, 2016-2017, AAA (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

Three players from the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA program have been named to the OHL Gold Cup.

The Ontario Hockey League held their Minor Midget Priority draft on Saturday and Kitchener had the second highest number of players drafted in the top 5 rounds.  Only London had more players from the Alliance drafted in the early rounds. 

There is a strong presence of Kitchener Jr. Ranger alumni heading to the second round of the OHL playoffs.

After a hard fought 8 game series against the cross town rivals to the North the Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA team now face our cross town rivals to the South for the right to advance to the OHL Cup Provincial Championships.

The Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA hockey club has advanced to the Alliance Semi-Finals with a 3-0 sweep of Windsor in the Quarter Finals.
