The Lady Rangers hosted the Roadrunners on a Wednesday “home” game at Don McLaren.
The ladies completed their final LLFHL game of “2016” against the Cambridge Roadrunners. A solid start had the ladies capitalizing on a Cambridge penalty. Some beautiful puck movement lead to a quality shot “on net” which put the ladies up early by one. Unfortunately, that was where the score ended for the ladies. Although there were many great scoring opportunities, several momentary lapses in D-Zone coverage had Cambridge up by one heading into the break. An early third period goal sealed the “W” for the Roadrunners.
You are certainly deserving of better results given the opportunities you have had but it is important to remember that you are "generating opportunity". We are confident that your continued hard work will be rewarded and hope you will continue to believe in our systems of play as much as we believe in your ability to execute within them. We will continue to focus on the details that will help make you successful. With eight games remaining in this season, we need to make the most of them.
