Kitchener Lady Rangers faced the Owen Sound Ice Hawks and what a difference a
week can make!
For the second Friday in a row the Lady Rangers hosted the Ice Hawks at the Sportsworld Arena. Continuing to play some of their best hockey of the season, this “Friday’s” game bore little resemblance to last week’s match. Good puck movement, shots (actually on the net!!) and many, many great opportunities had the ladies tied at the break. The ladies continued their strong play in the third and were finally rewarded for all their hard work and effort with a late third marker (did I mention what can happen when shots actually hit the net??) and the “W”.
You have played true “Lady Ranger” hockey these last three games. Continue to work hard for the remaining three. You simply have to make it into the playoff’s. As history tells us, once your there the ice doesn’t care whether you finished 1st or 8th. Anything can happen!
