KJR Blue has fantastic run in Ottawa!
KJR Blue finished up at the the Ottawa - Mid Season Showdown with a 3-2-0 record after finishing 3rd in the 13 team round robin - earning a birth in the Quarter Finals. KJR Blue's impressive run ended with a tough 2-1 loss in the semis.
The team should be proud of their success on the ice having played some very talented teams. This included 3 close games against talented A teams - losing 1-0 to Port Credit , beating North York 2-1 before losing in an exciting semi final to East Gwillimbury 2-1.
What also impressed the coaches was the team bonds that were formed on and off the ice. The boys had a great time hanging out at meals, the Science Museum and at the Sens game.
Congrats KJR Blue ... very impressive weekend!
