A True Test
Game Captain Ethan Goetz led the Rangers Red onto the ice against the Chedoke Express!

A tough fought game against a team that was made up mostly of Major players proved to be too much for the Rangers Red.

Max Thompson gave the Rangers Red a chance to win on this night making over 30+ saves, a bunch of them being in spectacular fashion.  While the Rangers could only muster 15 shots on the Chedoke netminder beating him once on a goal by Brock Smith assisted by Daniel Deckert and Sam Clark.  The Chedoke squad positioned themselves well, used their speed, and for the most part limited our chances in the their end.

The forward line of Joel Guse, Sam Clark, and Brett Peeler created some dangerous chances with their speed and passing nearly potting a couple goals on the night. Guse played his strongest game of the year and was dangerous on nearly every shift which earned him the Workhorse of the game!  All forward lines generated some chances but were hard pressed to sustain any O zone time against a fast puck moving Chedoke team.  We needed to generate more 2nd chance opportunities by getting to pucks first and creating a netfront presence in their end, something which will be a big focus in practice this upcoming week.

Next up a couple of needed practices which lead us into our first tournament of the year Nov 30th at the Bradford Blue and Gold.

Go Red Go!
