Rangers Hit by Train in Chedoke
The Kitchener Jr Rangers Select Blue team dropped a hard fought battle against the older Chedoke Express Saturday afternoon.

The Rangers shouldn’t be too upset in the result considering the minor banton team was up against the major bantam Express.

In fact, there were several Rangers who really stepped up and showed character.

Meghan Wright was definitely one of those players for the Rangers. Right from puck drop Wright was hung out to dry but she stood tall and battled hard for the Rangers. Wright showed tremendous character by not getting frustrated, pointing fingers or giving up. Well don Meghan!

Another player who really battled hard was Michael Rogoz.  Rogoz was fantastic battling in the defensive zone and showed great support to his defense. Rogoz played off his wingers, Freddie Law and Braeden Buck, speed and moved the puck well.

It was a nice return game for Jacob Ancich as well. Ancich did well head manning the puck up ice to Ryan McConnell and Will Halter. The line shows promise, and it will be fun to watch the chemistry build.

Speaking of chemistry, Shawn Parliament and Tyler Oude-Voshaar appeared to have it with fellow line mate Brett Herniman. The trio created some chances and looked dangerous.

Hats off to the Rangers defenders as well. Evan Skipp, Dezi Deneau, Ethan Shular, Rashaun Williamson, Logan Hock and Colin Starr all had their hands full and battled hard. There was never any question on their skill and there shouldn’t be any on their work ethic.

The Rangers will regroup and look forward to what should be a great test against Burlington Tuesday night.

Go Rangers!
