U12 BB/B Red (2012), BB/B (formerly Minor Development), 2023-2024, REP (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

Back in December, the two U12 BB teams caught the attention of the KSA through their efforts in educating themselves and supporting the issue of homelessness in our community. The 'Drop the Gloves Campaign' was a great success providing gloves and mitts to community members in need ahead of the cold weather.  As a result of their efforts both on and off the ice, these two teams are in the running for the KSA Team Award. The U12 BB/B Kitchener Jr. Rangers Red and Blue teams came together over the weekend for a spooktacular “Trunk or Treat” event to have some intersquad fun, while also collecting an impressive 323 lbs of food for the Waterloo Region Food Bank. The equivalent to serve 250 meals for individuals in need within the region.

The U12 B/BB Red Jr. Rangers have emerged victorious in the John MacDonald Memorial Tournament this past weekend. Despite losing their first game, the team showcased their resilience and determination by winning their next four games straight and ultimately clinching the gold medal!

On September 30, in honour of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the U12 Red and Blue Rangers met at centre ice with sticks taped orange before puck drop to honour this significant day.
