Jr. Rangers Capture Silver in Bell Capital Cup
The Jr.Rangers spent part of the Christmas break in Ottawa participating in one of North America's premier youth hockey tournaments.  The Rangers went 6-0 on their road to the Championship game.

Victories over Nickel City Sons, Ottawa Valley, Gloucester Rangers, Ottawa Sting and Nepean Raiders set the stage for a thrilling semi-final game against the Brampton 45's.  The battle to advance to the gold medal game was exciting and tense and ended 1-1 after regulation.  Playing 4 on 4 in sudden death, the Rangers found the back of the net within two minutes and punched their ticket to the finals.  The Rangers tallied 22 goals for and only 6 against heading into the finals.  In gold medal game, held in the Canadian Tire Center- homerink to the Ottawa Senators, the Rangers fought to a 1-1 tie until the third period when they eventually lost to the Don Mills Flyers.  It was an exciting four days in Ottawa as the team came full circle: the Jr.Rangers kicked off the tournament by attending an Ottawa Senators game and ended their stay by capturing the silver medal at the same arena.
