Skills Competition Results
We had a great skills competition tonight to determine which players would represent our Rangers at this weekend's Kyla Kowalik Memorial Tournament skills competition. First, let me say that our girls competed very well and each of the competitions was very close. Unfortunately, only one player can be selected for each of the competitions to be held Saturday at 1pm. After much deliberation, here are the players selected by the coaching staff to represent our team;
The Fastest Skater competition - Avery
The Best Stick Handler competition - Nicole
The Best Scorer competition - Sierra
The Best Goalie competition - Chloe
As mentioned, it was extremely close, so close that we needed a coin flip to choose our goalie - they had the same goals against during the competition and are both great goaltenders (I almost feel guilty that we have them both on our team). Please confirm via email that each of the players selected will be able to compete Saturday. In the event that one of the players cannot make it I will contact the runner up for the competition so that they may compete. Looking forward to a good opening game tomorrow night (8:30pm against Wilmot 1 - I know, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't Waterloo too). See you all there - Go Blue Go!
