Novice Blacks & Guelph Gryphons support Cystic Fibrosis Canada
On March 18th and 19th, the Kitchener Rangers Novice Black and the Guelph Junior Gryphons Tyke 'A" hockey teams met for a home-and-home weekend at the Kitchener Auditorium and Sleeman Centre.
Mayors Berry Vrbanovic and Cam Guthrie kicked off the respective home games with a ceremonial puck drop. Adding to the excitement, Mike Farwell was on hand to announce the game on Saturday. For Mike’s efforts, both teams presented a cheque to Cystic Fibrosis Canada as part of the Farwell4Hire campaign raising funds to find a cure for CF. Throughout the weekend, the boys displayed great hockey, sportsmanship, and commitment to their community.
