KJR Alumni Sign in BCHL
Kitchener Jr. Rangers are pleased to announce that alumni Bobby Young and Daniel Chenard have both signed and will be playing for Chilliwack of the BCHL.

Goaltender Daniel Chenard(00) and forward Bobby Young (98) were both undrafted however proved that hockey isn't done after the draft and preserved and continued with their education and hockey.

After finishing the minor midget AAA season which saw the Jr. Rangers advance to the Alliance Championship and OHL Cup Bobby attended prep school in the states.  After graduation he had a number of NCAA offers made however he chose to play in the BCHL for the upcoming season.

Daniel led the Jr. Rangers to the Marlie Tournament finals and the OHL Cup quarter finals where they lost in double overtime.  Daniel played a year of midget then joined the Caledonia Jr. B club where he earned a Sutherland Cup and was named GOJHL goaltender of the year.  Daniel will also be suiting up for the Chilliwack Chiefs this upcoming season.

BCHL is known as one of the top junior leagues in Canada and many players graduate to NCAA Division 1 programs.   Bobby and Daniel, KJR Minor Midgets are proud of your accomplishments and we wish you luck this season!!
