Novice Reds battle AAAs in Preston
Our Novice Reds had a tough weekend on the ice in Preston. We suffered losses vs. three of Ontario's most feared AAA Novice opponents and finished the weekend 1-3.
We lost in a tight battle to Niagara 4-3 in Game #1, lost 6-1 to Duffield (the eventual tournament champions) after scoring first, and lost in the quarter finals to Halton in a highly contested battle that ended with a 8-4 final score. We were able to contain a late come-back by Brampton to beat them 4-3 in the final game of pool play. Congratulations to our players selected to a fun filled all star game by the tournament committee. #31, #15, #77, #88, #91 should all be very proud of themselves. The kids have a busy schedule of league play upcoming as we make our push to the Alliance finals. Hoping to see everyone out at the rink cheering loud and proud!
