It Was Worth The Drive
The boys must have watched Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday, because, just like the Toronto Maple Leafs, they came out flying. All three goals were scored in the first five minutes of the opening period. Short shifts and two players to the puck worked incredibly well for the first period. Again, similar to the Maple Leafs, we were on our heels for the second period as we ran into penalty trouble resulting in being short handed for 6 minutes of the ten minute period. Sarnia scored mid way in the second period but the boys got their legs back and played a strong third period to secure a 3-1 win.  Congratulations to Keegan Miller for earning team MVP as hardest worker.  A great afternoon was capped off with a visit to Albert's Fries in Port George (Darren's 5 star recommendation was spot on) where the boys ate fries and explored the shoreline near the Clearwater Bridge.
