6-2 Win vs St. Catharines
Despite a slow and sloppy first period (direct quote from November 11 post re London Nationals), the boys gradually picked up the play for the second and third periods. Goals were exchanged with the Hurricanes for the first 30 minutes and then we pulled away thanks to strong forechecking, solid defence and some key saves. Gab, aka "Bigs", scored a birthday goal (celebrated post-game with Ranger cupcakes) and Marcus D earned the coveted MVP hardhat. It certainly was nice to be playing back in Kitchener in front of a loud and energetic home crowd. Go Blue!
