Major Atom Red, 2017-2018, MD (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

It was another great game between Red and Blue. The intensity on and off the ice was through the roof. Unfortunately, we came up just short with a 3-2 loss. It was my pleasure to be a part of such an amazing team. We wish Blue the best of luck in the finals against Hamilton. Go Rangers!

Game 2 was another exciting game. It was a 2-2 tie heading into the 3rd period, when Blue took over with 3 unanswered goals. The bad news is that we didn't exhibit our normal composure. The good news is that we get to play at least one more exciting game with a chance to move to the championship.

What a game today between Red and Blue. Two great teams going back and forth, battling hard. It was a fantastic first game in the series. It's so nice to see the progress the boys have made this year. We stole the Jets motto of "Rise Together" for the playoffs and the boys played together as a team so well. Let's bring that same energy to game 2. Great job boys!

The Red and Blue teams squared off today for the last time of the regular season, ending in a tight 3-3 tie. After the game, both teams got together for a bbq and some road hockey. Actually, a lot of road hockey. The boys played a hard game on the ice and continued playing until the street lights came on(Another 6 hours or so). The parents had a great time socializing. Thank you to the Simons' for hosting. Both teams meet up again on Monday to start the playoffs. It should be a great series. Good luck Rangers.

The boys played their second last game of the regular season, but it felt like a playoff game. Their intensity was through the roof, 11 out of 10. They had great passing, and played smart hockey. However, even with all this great hockey, it was no blow out. Waterloo played a great game and we had to earn everything we got. This game was great preparation, for what is sure to be an exciting playoff run. Great work boys!
