Quarter Finals Schedule v Cambridge
Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA team will be meeting Cambridge Hawks in their 6 point Quarter Final match up.
Kitchener finished 3rd in the Alliance standings with a record of 18-6-9 scoring 133 goals while giving up 78. The very hard working Cambridge Hawks finished 6th with a record of 16-13-4 scoring 100 goals while giving up 89 goals against.
The teams met 3 times this season with Cambridge taking the season series 2-1.
Cambridge won the first game of the season against the Jr. Rangers 5-4 back in September. The two teams met again in October where the Hawks scored an empty net goal to beat Kitchener 4-2. Their final meeting of the season was January 5th in Kitchener where the Jr. Rangers came out on top by a score of 4-3.
Cambridge brings a strong work ethic, fast forwards, physical defense and outstanding goaltending. It will take everything the Jr. Rangers have in this series.
