Minor Atom Red, 2018-2019, MD (Kitchener Minor Hockey)

 The MD Red team had a blast last night at the Auditorium with a tour of the OHL Kitchener Rangers dressing room, then team photo's in the old barn at Center Ice and then a fun skills competition for bragging rights for "Fastest Skater", "Hardest Shot", "Shootout" and Timed Puck Control Relay". Keep up the great work team as we get ready to head to the Alliance Championships in London. Go Red Go!

The MD Red team went undefeated outscoring the opposition 15-2 to capture the Championship title at the Gene Harrington Falls Classic in Niagara Falls & Buffalo, NY. The weekend was full of team spirit, fun and success from a great group of parents and the talented young athletes.

These amazing young athletes won four straight games through the round robin portion of the tournament outscoring the opponents 18-1. They went on to the Championship game to only be defeated by a score of 1-0. The coaching staff and parents are super proud of the way this team came together throughout the tournament. Three cheers for the Hespeler Olympics Finalists!

Another great tournament weekend for the Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Atom MD Red team. Going undefeated throughout the tournament to capture the Gold Medal Championship. Our young athletes came from behind in the final Championship game to win it in the shootout with stellar goal tending and amazing goals at just the right time. The coaching staff are very proud of the team effort by all the players this past weekend. Congratulations!
