The boys played in the Alliance Championship today. It was an exciting game. We scored the first goal, twice, as the first first goal was called off because the net was off. We dominated play for most of the game, but Hamilton is a very good team and managed to get a late goal to make it a 3-2 final. We are so proud of these boys, and the progress they made this season. It was our privilege to have coached such a fine group of young men, and we feel so fortunate to have had such a great parent group.
Good luck in tryouts!

The boy's excellent run came to an end today against an excellent Hamilton team. We asked the boys to make sure they left it all on the ice today, so that no matter what happened, they would know they gave it their best. We're so proud of them for how they've played throughout this series and the whole season. On the bright side, our season isn't completely over, as we are heading to the alliance championship Read More

The boys got off to a slow start today, and a very good Hamilton team took advantage. 3-0 is a tough hole to dig out of against any team, but especially hard against Hamilton. To our credit, we did not pack it in. Two quick goals late in the second period, made it a game again. Unfortunately, we couldn't complete the comeback, but we are still alive in the series, coming home on Saturday. Don't count this team out. They don't know the meaning of quit.

That was a different level tonight. The intensity was through the roof, true playoff hockey. It was fast on the ice, with big saves, physical defense and big shots. It was also loud in the stands, with great support from our parents and a bunch of our 07 Ranger family in attendance. We can't wait to take the battle to Hamilton tomorrow.

The stars of the game were:

Ashton C.
Isaac H.
Shayle S.
