Rangers Prey on Hawks
The Kitchener Jr Rangers Select Blue team had a string showing against the Cambridge Hawks with a 9 to 0 win Tuesday night.

Zackary Wick earned the shutout in the win and it was his second on the season. Wick was sharp when called on.

Michael Rogoz had a pair of goals in the game. Both goals by Rogoz were set up by Braeden Buck. Starr opened the scoring from Dezi Deneau and Ryan McConnell. Evan Skipp put a rocket of a shot in short handed from Tyler Oude-Voshaar and Starr. Rashaun Williamson put the finishing touches on an Ethan Shular assist. Brett Herniman put home his second goal of the season from McConnell and Skipp. Oude-Voshaar made no mistakes on a breakaway after being sent in alone by Shawn Parliament and Logan Hock. Will Halter Halter had a beauty from McConnell. Freddie Law put the final dagger in the Hawks with a fantastic goal set up by Rogoz.

The game was the first time the Rangers had every player record a point in the game and was truly a team effort. However, the Rangers need to focus on their play away from the puck and continue to battle in the defensive zone.

Next up the Rangers will look for pay back against the Chedoke Express after dropping their first game 3 to 1 against them. If the Rangers stick to the game plan and are willing to put in the work, they will most definitely get their revenge.

Go Rangers!
