Unbelievable!!! These boys set the bar each and every week and then blow past it raising their game to new levels. This past week the boys shot a record setting 8,096 pucks. Cole Bourassa shot a whopping 2,210!!!! Originally we set the bar at 70K shots in 26 weeks, but we achieved that amount by week 15. We then raised the bar to 100,000 shots and they achieved that by week 21! With approximately 5 more weeks left we're just going to open it right up and see how many shots we end up with at the end of the season. Currently we have shot 106,781 shots as a team to date! We're closing in on 100K!!!! This past week the boys shot 4,561 pucks. This means we have now shot 98,685 shots this season and are only 1,315 shots from hitting a staggering 100,000 shots in 21 weeks. As well the boys started the Figure 8 Challenge and continued on with Soft Touches. Personal best were established for all participating players for the figure 8's. This past week the boys had to continued to work on reaching 100k shots on net. As well they worked on personal best stick-handling soft touches in 1 minute and personal best stick-handling figure 8's in 30 seconds. This week the boys shot a season high 6,681 pucks bring our season total to 94,124. An honourable mention goes to Blake who shot a season high 1,756 shots ion one week.
