      We hope you are aware that the 2019/20 season has been cancelled.  KMHA and its board of directors are working diligently to get answers for our participants and volunteers. It was yet another accomplishment for the Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Red team, winning the Alliance East/Central Playoffs as top seed, with a 4 to 1 win over the second seeded Burlington Bulldogs White, Saturday night in Kitchener.

The Rangers will enter Play Downs facing off against the Brantford 99ers, who the team won their series 4 to 0 in the playoffs against. However, it is now the most critical time of year with the winner of this series earning the rights to compete in the Alliance Championships. Brantford has showed great progress and compete as of late and hold a fantastic test for the Rangers. Read More

The Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Red team learned a good lesson from their rival Blue team about playing with intensity and focus dropping their Sunday afternoon matchup 3 to 2. Credit to the Blue team for their hard work and determination in this one.

It has been a string of meaningless games for the Rangers as of late, having clinched first long ago, and the team was getting a tad sloppy and almost just going through the motions at times. Perhaps, a silver lining in the lose is renewing the team’s hunger.

Aiden Radatus certainly had the hunger to win and played one of his best games of the season stopping just shy of 30 shots. Radatus fought hard for loose pucks and was acrobatic at times keeping the puck out of the net for his team. Read More
