On Tuesday night, the Kitchener Jr Rangers Bantam Red team had the amazing opportunity to help volunteer with the Kitchener Rangers for their 25th annual Teddy Bear Toss night.

In a game that featured the rival London Knights, the Rangers scored 3:46 into the second period with 11,052 bears raining down on the ice. The boys jumped into action and quickly helped to clean up as many bears as they could, all the while sharing some laughs. After cleanup, the boys got to sit and watch the rest of the game with the Rangers successfully defeating the Knights 4-0. Read More

Credit the 99ers for going all out and playing a great game. They had the Rangers on their heels in the game but the Rangers never give up and rallied twice.

First when down two goals the Rangers used the power play to tie the game with back to back power play goals. The first goal was by Kodi Blackshaw from Quinten Earle and Jake Fisher. The second was from Stephen Peppas from Josh McDonald and Denver Heiman. Read More

The Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Red team had a successful opening day with a pair of wins over London based teams. The Rangers topped the West London Hawks in the morning 3 to 2 and were on fire against the Bandits winning 5 to 0.

Against West London Owen Neomytka was stellar and kept the Hawks at bay with key saves early and late in the game. Neomytka moved in his crease very well and made sure he limited any second chances.

Caleb Cumming opened the scoring from Jacob Reid-Brant and Chad Morris. Morris then scored from Cumming and Connor Coughlin before Stephen Peppas potted the game winner from Toby Pryce and Kodi Blackshaw. Read More
