Rangers Keep Rolling
The Kitchener Jr Rangers MD Red team continued their playoff push with a dominate, almost Championship like, 3 to 1 win over their rival Blue team Wednesday night.

The win kept the Rangers perfect in the playoffs with 7 straight wins and 14 points which is extra impressive when you consider the second-place team sits with 2 wins and 5 points.

Aiden Radatus played a character game showing excellent rebound control which was instrumental in preventing the Blue team from gaining any momentum. Radatus was looking forward to the game and his team played great in front of him.

Connor Coughlin centered the line that inflicted all the damage against Blue. Coughlin set up the first goal by Caleb Cumming with Toby Pryce also earning an assist. Coughlin then scored from Kodi Blackshaw and Cumming before Cumming added another goal from Noah Park and Jake Fisher.

It was an impressive game by all the forwards as each line had amazing back checkers that suffocated the Blue team. Quinten Earle played hard down low and his wingers, Denver Heiman and Logan Duke, made sure they put pressure on the Blue defenders all game.

Pressure was a common theme for the Rangers. It was Stephen Peppas’ line that added the cycle pressure and had numerous chances and a couple posts. Jacob Reid-Brant and Evan Peori made life hard on the Blue goalie.

The Rangers will need Josh McDonald, Chad Morris and Matt Gallant to continue playing so reliable in their end should they hope to reach their season goal to win the Alliance Championships. You can’t say enough good things about all their play as of late.

Up next, the Ranger host the Brantford 99ers before heading to Brantford for a classic home and home battle that definitely will be tough hockey.

Go Rangers!
