Week 9 once again saw full homework participation from all Rangers. As Dante and Nolan continued to work on their hand eye coordination they also helped contribute to a near record setting weekly shot total of 6,077 shots (The record was in week 2 with 6,088 - however it was much warmer outside in week two). With their help and a lot of biscuit launching (1212 by Charlie Cameron) we have now shot a grand total of 46,749 shots in 9 weeks. With just under 2/3 of the season to go, we are only 23,251 shots from our goal.

Yesterday the Jr Ranger Novice White Team celebrated Christmas and the start of the holiday season as one big hockey family at King Pin Bowl Lounge in Kitchener. It was a fun evening of celebrating the start of the holiday season with all members of our hockey family (teammates, siblings and parents) as we bowled, ate pizza and enjoyed unlimited beverages until we couldn't party any more.

Looking forward to seeing the boys in their new Bar Down KJR toques and KJR hoodies that they received for Christmas at the game tomorrow!

Cheers and a big thanks to all the parents and siblings that attended last night!

This past week marked the passing of the 1/3 mark of the season. It also saw full participation in homework by all of our teammates. As a result we had our second highest weekly shot count this year and made a giant leap toward 70,000 pucks.

Our players took a total of 5,768 shots this past week. One individual shot an astounding 1150 pucks! Collectively as a team we have shot a grand total of 40,672 shots after eight weeks and have 29,328 to go.

The following players set new records this week for soft touches:
Hayden Bedard
Harrison O'Leary
Kaya George

Great job boys and keep up the hard work!

This past weekend we competed in our first tournament/ jamboree of the year. It was a great experience for the boys and they played hard throughout the tournament. Our Rangers team played a tough Bradford Bulldogs team that saw a lot of great hockey played by both teams in a back and forth bout between two heavy weights. Our Rangers then went on to have great outings against the always tough Brantford 99ers, Guelph Gryphons and the fast skating Essex Ravens. Overall it was a great weekend of Rangers Hockey.
