No Coach ... No Problem!
With Coach Ian down south catching some rays, the Rangers returned to the ice after an extended Christmas/New Year's break.
The sixteen day game layoff was very apparent as the Rangers found themselves in a shootout. The boys were able to out score Woodstock 9-6 and come away with the victory. Ethan S (4), Adam (3) and Daniel (2) took care of all the scoring while Ryan came through with several key saves to preserve the victory. Stewart was awarded the Hard Hat for his tireless effort!
The Rangers returned to the ice the following day and took control of the game early and never looked back as they defeated St Catherines 10-1. Nathan, Thomas, Jack, James, TJ and Hunter locked down the defensive zone and transitioned the puck up the ice all game long. Vance was solid in goal when called upon. Ethan S (3), Adam (2), Daniel, Dawson, Ethan R, Seth and Will provided the offense. Adam's continued leadership and two-way play earned him the Hard Hat!
Another busy week ahead. Coach Ian returns and will be saddled with the daunting task of extending the Blue Rangers winning streak!
