Great Goaltending Leads White to Victory!
Team White hosted the Brantford 99ers Saturday night and skated away with a 4-0 victory.
Team White dominated the first 2 periods positionly but only held a 1-0 lead going into the 3rd. With much of the time spent in the Brantford zone, it was disapointing that our edge in play didn't lead to a larger differential. The third period saw the 99ers hold a shooting advantage, but Stormy came up with great save after great save to keep them off the scoresheet. The line of Maddux, Marko and Jared led the offensive production with 2 goals and an assist by Pep, 1 goal and an assist by Marko and Jared chipping in with 2 assists. Preston scored our other goal.
Today against Burlington we hope to see our team use the boards to clear more often, and dump the puck into open ice, rather than trying to win the game by themselves.
