Great team effort leads to 11-3 semi final win!
What a difference 12 hours makes.  Rebounding from a 4-0 final round robin loss, where nothing went right, Team White could do no wrong in the semi final against Markham and won 11-3.

The game started quickly for White as the line of Preston, Lucas and Olivia scored on their first 2 shifts with Lucas potting the goals and Preston and Olivia assisting on both.  Then Pep's line got into the act as Marko scored 3 for White with Pep and Jared getting 2 assists each.  Unfortunately sandwiched between Marko's first and second goal were 2 Waxer goals.  End of the line for the Waxers.
The goals came fast and furious for our team after that.  Olivia from Robert and Preston, Nick from Cole, Preston from Lucas, a goal from our newest centre, Robert, with assists from Marko and Pep and a breakaway for Pep with an assist to Max to finish the 2nd.  With 6 forwards playing D in the 3rd Preston rounded out the scoring with assists to Sam and Jared.
Passing was the name of the game, with the puck moving faster than the Waxers could skate.  Robert was the proud recipient of the White Helmet for his puck distribution from the back end and his goal scoring ability when moved to centre.
Round robin games were as follows: 4-0 over North London Nationals with goals from Marko with 3 and Sam.  Ben won the White Helmet for his great puck movement. 3-1 over Markham with goals from Marco, Preston and Sam. Preston won the White Helmet for his great leadership and passing. 0-4 loss to Oakridge. Jack won the White Helmet for not losing his focus on the task ahead, even when losing.
Congrats to our young Rangers. Looking forward to the final to exact our revenge on Oakridge.
