LLFHL Bronze Medalists
Congratulations to all the Kitchener Lady Rangers Midget B players and staff for a Bronze Medal win at the LLFHL "Final Four" Championship weekend.
After a successful Central West Division playoff run, the Kitchener Lady Rangers Midget B team advanced to the LLFHL Championship weekend in Mississauga. After a good start in the first game against Leaside, the ladies hit a road block against a quick and skilled Cold Creek team. Needing to win game three against Milverton, the ladies bounced back and showed true heart and determination. As discussed throughout the season, in the balance of life you win some games you shouldn't and you also lose some games you shouldn't. Although you out chanced Milverton, there would be no rematch with Cold Creek in the final.
However in the true spirit of your season to date, you came prepared to play in the bronze medal game. A determined KLR effort resulted in a bronze medal to round out your collection of silver and golds. In a compliment to all of the ladies, the Leaside coaching staff made a point of commenting on how well you played in both the games against them and further stated that you were one of the best teams they had played against all season.
Although biased, we do agree!
Congratulations ladies! Two more weeks until the final "show". Keep up the hard work!
