A Cyclone of a Game
Saturday we played host to the Hamilton Cyclones. We played the game with four defense and they were ready to play. They were solid all game. Ben played one of his best games and won the hard hat worker of the game. Angelo, Nathan, and
Jack F played hard and did well at minimizing Hamiltons chances to score. Our forwards just couldn't find their legs all game. They couldn't seem to get in a groove. As we started to gain momentum the ref would call us for a penalty.
Logan moved up to the forward position for the first time this season and did well. Good job Logan. Jack M played a really good game as well making some nifty moves to score our only goal of the game. Quinten also had some flashes of good deeking. Antonio, Aidan and Maddux had some chances but couldn't finish it off with a goal. Maddux did ring one off the post in a nice dash to the net. Cole and Owen chipped in with some good defensive plays to help keep us in front. Keep on working hard boys you are doing a great job. Scott had some chances as well but couldn't seem to get the shots through. Carson had a few shots and made some really good saves to keep us ahead. Connor came in and made a couple of saves early on and then a knuckle ball puck sqeeked past him for the tying goal. Not your fault Connor the puck was moving around a lot on that shot. Connor has been solid all season long.
