Sunday the Rangers played the Hamilton Cyclones in the Hammer.  With some of our boys a little under the weather we were about to be stormed by the Cyclones.  It was a tight checking game that saw action at both ends of the ice.  We had our fair share of chances but couldn't seem to find the back of the net.  Connor played a good game and won the hard hat worker of the game.  The goal that went in was a shot from the point that seemed to be radar guided as it found the back of the net getting through a bunch of players.  Read More

It was a game filled with penatlies and in the end it cost us momentum and some good power play time.  We didn't start off to bad we had a few chances early on but we couldn't convert them into goals.  The boys played hard at times and didn't play hard at times.  Frustrating to watch a game that you have many chances but no rewards or no breaks.  Scott had a good game winning the hard hat worker of the game.  He always puts in a solid effort and does what he is supposed to do.  Good game Scott keep working hard. Last night we had an exciting game between Kitchener Blue and Red.  Right from the start we came out and had a few chances but could not convert on them.  Then in the first period Blue got a squeeker through the pads of Connor.  It looked as if the whistle had blown and then the puck slide across the line and was called a goal.  No problem we told the boys to shake it off and get going.  Well it really seemed to spark team Blue and they created some good chances but Connor made some good saves to keep us in the game. This afternoons game saw Kitchener face off against Waterloo.  A win would put us in first place just ahead of Cambridge.  We have played one more game than Cambridge and it was a good one today.  Kitchener came out and passed the puck well and shot the puck at the net scoring and creating exciting moments on offense.  Sam was back in a big way today scoring two goals and just missing on a couple of other shots.  One flew over the net and one shot beat the goalie but hit the post.  Nice hard wrist shot and well deserving of the hard hat worker of the game today.  Great game Sam.
