Ugly Win
It wasn't pretty but Kitchener beat Brantford 5-0 last night at Sportsworld.  We outshot Brantford 34-4 so it does say something about how well the Brantford goalie played.  The boys got the job done but were a little overconfident going into the game and had some trouble getting things going from the start.  Defense was solid again.  Angelo won the hard hat worker of the game by doing what he does best.  He controled the play and made smart decisions with the puck.  Nathan and Ben were solid not letting anyone get past them and Jack F was back in fine form shutting them down in the neautral zone.

Scott moved up to play with Antonio and Aidan.  These boys continue to tear it up and play really well together.  Aidan had some inside outside through the legs moves that even shocked the coaches sometimes in some difficult areas that created good scoring chances.  He just needs to learn when to do it and when not to but that will come.  Keep it up Aidan.  Scott and Antonio worked hard in the corners and getting to the net for rebounds.  Logan had another good game gaining confidence the more he plays and the more he scores.  Quinten and Jack M battled for the puck and are always a threat when they are on the ice.  Owen continues to quietly do his job.  He works hard and does whats asked of him all the time.  Thanks Owen.  Maddux and Cole work hard in the offensive zone but they always work even harder getting back to help our defense.  With our backchecking it is hard for the other team to get anything going.  Carson was not to busy at all last night but made some saves when Brantford had some chances.  We did get into some penalty trouble again but the boys perservered and came out of this game with the 2 points.  Ugly win but a win is a win none the less.
