Congratulations to MD Blue for taking home the Cambridge Festival of Friendship tournament title with a hard fought 4-3 win over a resilient Burlington squad.

A great effort from the Blue boys to take down the visiting Hamilton Phantoms by a final score of 4 to 2. Jaymie Weicker led the way with two goals while Antione Dollimore and Alex Petrenko adding singles. Carter Ryan and Scott Voisin notched their first points at this level and Adam Exley made what may be the save of the year by any goalie at any level diving across the crease to snag a sure goal with his glove. Congratulations to the 15 skaters and 2 goalies drafter to Md Blue.  We are looking forward to a busy, terrific year full of challenging our boys to be the best they can be both on, and off the ice.  This year our boys will see 4 action in 4 tournaments, hockey specific training at The Hockey Loft, some off-ice fitness challenges including some team 5 km runs as well as other charitable opportunities.  We are looking forward to a great season with MD Blue.
