Jr. Rangers Advance to Alliance Semi Finals
The Kitchener Jr. Rangers Minor Midget AAA team has advanced to the Alliance Semi Finals.
The Jr. Rangers await their next round opponent after a sweep of Cambridge in their Quarter Final series. Kitchener won the opening game of the series 7-1 at home and then took game 2 on the road 4-1. Game 3 played at home Cambridge threw everything they had at Kitchener but the home team hung on for a 3-2 victory and series sweep.
The other 6 point quarter final series will wrap up this weekend.
Series A: Brantford (1) v Chatham (8) - Brantford leads 4-0
Series B: Waterloo (2) v Elgin Middlesex (7) - Waterloo leads 5-3
Series C: Kitchener (3) v Cambridge (6) - Kitchener wins 6-0
Series D: London (4) v Windsor (5) - series is tied 3-3
