The Jr. Rangers hosted the Hamilton Phantoms tonight at Activa. The team wanted the puck right from the start.  Quickly pouncing on our opportunities and scorong early, gave our boys the boost they needed to get going.  J. Masters was flying out there and had two nice goals.  O. Masters totally undressed the defense but just couldn't get the puck to the back of the net. Wilson had another solid effort and almost scored on a quick wrap around attempt.  Frazer is controling the puck well and moving up the ice with good speed weaving in and out like Bobby Orr.

Duscio and Burns had some good chances and fought hard for the puck and won some good battles with the puck. Rochon won the hard hat today putting a wrist shot from the point right into the back of the net and adding a helper later on. Great effort. Pepin was all over the ice tonight in a good way assisting two times and scoring once to continue his hot streak. Pasqualino and Featherstone followed with a solid performance at both ends. Featherstone and Main covered really well for our D at the right times. Good read boys. Buchanan and Cooper battled hard for the puck whenever play was near. McFarlane has looked good and he has some good scoring touch around the net. Movold did some nice work and he really stuck up for himself when he needed to.  Smallacombe started the game with confidence and was positionally sound.  Bulyaki made some nice saves including a slide across toe save that looked like it was going in until Connor said " not tonight" and stuck his pad out.  All in all a descent game for the boys tonight ending with an 8-1 win.
